Ever wanted to dive into the world of roller derby? Join us for our Intro to Derby program! We’ll teach you everything you need to know to play derby safely – starting with basic skating skills, how to stop, landing safe falls, then moving into hitting legally, overall gameplay and strategy.
Complete beginners are welcome! The program runs from September to December, every Saturday morning here in Guelph.
Once a skater successfully completes the Intro to Derby program and can demonstrate safe gameplay, they advance to our rookie team, Our Ladies of Pain for our spring/summer season starting in April.
COST – $100 program fee + $30 insurance (+ roller derby skates and gear)
