Welcome to Royal Brawl!
Friday July 24 to
Sunday July 26, 2026
Victoria Road Rec Centre
151 Victoria Rd N, Guelph, ON N1E 6M2

Founded in 2010, Royal City Roller Derby (RCRD) is the first roller derby league in Guelph, Ontario. What began as a handful of skaters has evolved into a thriving and passionate community that continues to attract new skaters, officials and wonderful volunteers.
Royal City Roller Derby is comprised of two travel teams – The Bruteleggers (A Team) and The Rum Rollers (B Team), one home team – Killer Uprising, our rookie team – Our Ladies of Pain, and an amazing group of officials – The Untouchables.
Land Acknowledgement
Royal City Roller Derby acknowledges that we gather, skate, and compete on the traditional lands of the Attawandaron (A-ta-WAN-da-RON), or Neutral peoples, as well as the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Haudenosaunee (HOH-duh-noh-SHOW-nee) Confederacy. Guelph, known as Thadinadonnih (TA-din-NA-doh-NIN) in Kanien’kéha (gah-NYEN-geh-hah) translates to “the place where they built”. This land is protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum, a treaty that calls on all who live here to share and care for the land in peace and mutual respect, the Two Row Wampum, which reminds us that we travel side by side on the river of life, and to respect each other’s sovereignty without interference and the Between the Lakes Treaty No.3 a land agreement between the crown and the Mississaugas.
We recognize that colonization and forced displacement have caused lasting harm to Indigenous peoples, yet First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities remain present, resilient, and deeply connected to this land. We acknowledge our responsibility to listen, learn, and take meaningful action toward reconciliation.
